Successful candidate will be working in a team of software developers to produce, maintain and support company's software products - a software suite to control laboratory test instruments and industrial equipment including, but not limited to, vector network analyzers, motion controllers, robots, and others for electromagnetic test applications. NSI-MI Technologies (NSI-MI) is a leading global supplier of advanced automated test and measurement products for commercial and military applications. NSI-MI delivers engineering solutions and advanced products for a wide range of technical applications where precise measurement, motion control and data acquisition is required. We apply our expertise in wireless technologies, electromagnetic propagation, and mechanical system design to provide test systems for aerospace, defense, satellite, wireless communications, and transportation industries as well as research institutes. This position may require occasional domestic and international travel, approximately 20%. Position Requirements:
Required Skills:
o Experience with writing object-oriented code in different programming languages:
C# and WPF, VB6, VB.Net, Visual C+
o Experience with instrumentation automation protocols include serial, USB, GPIB, and Ethernet o Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems, motors, and process controllers o Experience with COM/DCOM/ActiveX and .NET Framework o Software architectural design o Familiar with different software configuration control and documentation o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Strong analytical skills to understand complex technical systems and problem solving Must have the ability to obtain or have a U.S. Government security clearance. Desirable skills:
o Experience with electromagnetic measurements o RF test automation o Graphics / presentation software (2D and 3D) for measured data o Graphic User Interface (GUI) design/implementation o Advanced mathematical algorithm implementation and/or development o Adept with complex numbers, data fitting, interpolations, etc. o Able to write and/or read MATLAB code o Familiar with operation of RF test instruments, including spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. o Experience in porting applications from VB6 to C# o Database design and development Experience Level:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering(Required) Masters (Desired)
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
