About the Job:
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing merchant support services on behalf of GETTRX.
This includes providing user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms by troubleshooting problems with a high level of efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be able to establish and maintain trust and confidence in their ability to react to situations and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory records of all equipment and supplies.
Provide technical assistance and support to customers/merchants via phone or email.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, answering phones, and processing paperwork.
Identify and de-escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
Prepare activity reports.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Document all help desk interactions including problems, requests, and resolutions.
Follow standards help desk procedures to ensure all.
Research questions and information using available company resources.
Advise merchants on step-by-step problem-solving processes and appropriate actions to take when problems arise.
Administer help desk software.
Redirect problems to appropriate resource.
Qualifications/
Experience:
3
years of customer service experience required.
2
years in an operations/merchant support role.
2
years' experience with using financial software solutions like TSYS.
High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Proficient in general computer operations and technology especially Microsoft Office applications.
Strong knowledge of relevant call tracking applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
