$18 Essential Responsibilities Focuses on the setup and operation of a graphics printing equipment to include visual quality control.
Receives job assignments from supervisor and coordinates with supervisor daily; reads job specifications and prepares machine for job.
Operates equipment to ensure materials are continuous fed and imprinted correctly.
Observes flow of material through machine to detect irregular workflow or other problems which may interfere with smooth operation.
Immediately notifies supervision of any operating difficulties.
Monitors quality of work during operation to ensure correct color, print, and quantity of packaged items to be shipped.
Performs preventative maintenance on machine.
Inspects finished products to ensure quality integrity and ensure proper boxing of products.
Reviews boxed materials to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are addressed.
Completes paperwork for each job and packages finished goods for shipment to customer.
Performs other duties reasonably related to this position as may be assigned.
What you need? High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum six (6) months recent experience as a general machine operator A demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions (the ability to read, write and speak English is necessary to perform this job).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
