Position Description The General Manager position at American PERMALIGHT , Inc.
acts as a member of the leadership team and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team.
Succession Plan We have created a unique succession plan that establishes the essential foundation required for the General Manager position.
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding the company operations, including daily activities, delegating tasks to team members, supervising the onboarding process of new hires and providing administrative support.
Core Responsibilities The typical day/week as the General Manager at American PERMALIGHT , Inc.
will consist of executing a variety of sales and support activities that include but are not limited to:
Supervisory and Team Development Responsibilities - 80% Carries out the tactical execution of company business plan and sales strategy through the process of shadowing, coaching, developing, and motivating existing team members Proven experience as a General Manager or similar Executive Leadership Role Experience in planning and budgeting Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, operations, departments, etc.
) Excellent communication skills both internally and externally Communicates and enforces the policies and procedures of American PERMALIGHT , Inc.
and holds team members accountable to meeting and exceeding performance expectations Experience holding team members accountable Continuously inspects and improves company processes to ensure continued growth of the business and team Training, shadowing, coaching of new and current team members Development of team members as daily main priority Operational - 20% Human Resources Payroll, HR Staffing, HR Corrective Action responsibilities Business Operations Support team in daily operations Guide and Manage business strategy Ideal Candidates Will Have the Following Requirements:
BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus Willingness to reach assigned targets Must be organized and can multi-task Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Problem-solving aptitude Can meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy Willingness to work as a team player Must be well-spoken and able to communicate verbally/electronically effectively Possess the ability to prioritize tasks and possess strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, To Do) Compensation:
