Charge Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery at Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance, CA.
This position is full-time and will work 12-hour Night shifts.
The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment.
Responsible for the workflow of the unit under the direction of the unit management team.
Determines unit priorities for assigned timeframe with regard to patient care, patient flow (bed control), staffing and distribution of resources.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.

Required qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

California Registered Nurse License.
upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
upon hire:
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
upon hire:
National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics.
1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Preferred qualifications upon hire:
National Certification in area of specialty is preferred, unless otherwise indicated.
