Obstetrics Technician - Labor and Delivery

The Obstetrical Surgical Technician is a non-licensed health care employee or Licensed Vocational Nurse with additional surgical training, who performs delegated and routine patient care and tasks and duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
The Obstetrical Surgical Technician provides care to all patients in the following age groups:
Premature, Infant, Adolescent, Young Adult and Middle Adult, by assisting the surgical team during complex operative proceduresProvidence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.

Required qualifications Coursework/Training:
Completion of Operating Room Surgical Technician Training Program.
Or equivalent education/experience.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred qualifications Certification in Surgical Technology upon hire.
2 years experience in Operating Room or related experience (Surgicenter, Obstetrical Unit).
