Urban Plates, a restaurant dedicated to delivering handcrafted, made-from-scratch meals, is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager for our Torrance, California location.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, a commitment to delivering exceptional service, and a passion for fresh, high-quality food.
Key
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customersRecruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, creating a positive and productive work environmentImplement and enforce company policies and procedures, upholding our commitment to high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer serviceManage operational costs effectively, including food, labor, and suppliesCollaborate closely with the kitchen team to uphold our standards of food quality and presentationHandle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfactionReview performance data and operational practices to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a full-service restaurantProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExcellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints professionallyFamiliarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industryStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPassion for fresh, quality food and creating a memorable dining experience
