Bachelor's degree in Mental Health - related discipline plus 4 years direct service experience in Mental Health field (QMHP); or Master's degree in Mental Health-related discipline plus 2 years direct service experience in a Mental Health field (QMHP); or Certified as an Art Therapist, Music Therapist, Recreation Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Dance Therapist; or Licensed as Marriage Family Therapist or Social Worker (QMHP) Valid California Driver's License.
Valid California Class B Driver's License or ability to be licensed within 3 months of employment Demonstrated safe driving record with DMV and attendance at vehicle orientation How you will make a difference (job overview):
Rehabilitation Therapist provides direct and indirect services to adolescents under the supervision of the Director of Group Services, Coordinator or designee.
May provide directions to Rehab Aides.
Perform rehabilitation assessment of new residents utilizing verbal, written, auditory and visual communication.
Develop an individualized schedule of therapeutic groups with and for each adolescent.
Makes referrals to appropriate community agencies based on rehabilitation assessments and treatment team concurrence, e.

, VRS, GED.
Leads or co-leads therapeutic groups.
Coordinate and monitor daily unit activity program, supervise adolescents on outings, prepare verbal reports regarding adolescent's participation and progress in the activity program and written documentation of the same in the medical record system.
Participate in Treatment Team meetings and assist in the development of a written Interdisciplinary Treatment Plan.
