Client Services Representative

OverviewALS Group USA, Corp, a well-established Pharmaceutical and Beauty product-testing laboratory, providing services to the pharmaceutical/ Biotech, Medical Device and OTC/Personal Care industry is currently seeking a Client Service Representative for their Torrance location.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is the first direct contact with new and existing clients seeking information on needed tests and projects.
Customer service supports sales and technical staff.
Additionally, customer service helps clients by instructing and assisting them with submitting all necessary paperwork to expedite the testing process.
Other duties include taking calls, providing price quotations and follow up and providing periodic summary reports.
Customer service also assists in investigating and responding to customer inquires regarding complaints or sample pick-ups, performing other general clerical assignments and other duties as assigned.
This position also helps with the marketing function.
Duties include by not limited to:
writing press releases, updating and maintaining Constant Contact listings.
Works closely with the sales team to coordinate and prepare for all trade shows.
Other marketing activities as needed.
Customer service and marketing experience plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Must have good computer skills with MS Office and client relational database such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Excellent time management skills, follow through skills, be able to multitask and pay attention to detail.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to demonstrate composure and patience in stressful situations.
Must be conscientious, responsible, independent, and self-motivated.
QualificationsBS/BA degree in life science a plus.
Company requires a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
Salary range:
$20.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
