Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for the overall performance of the department.
All products will be shipped in accordance with LISI Aerospace and customer guideline standards.
This position will work closely with Quality Control, Purchasing, and Production Departments to ensure the company's quality and on-time delivery metrics are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

Supervise all functions of the shipping and receiving departments, which include, but are not limited to:
o Efficient packaging of products to customer expectations o Efficiency and accuracy to given internal standards o Cycle counts and inventory adjustments o Consolidation and Kanban of shipping supplies o Communications with factory logistics, quality and sales teams o Coordination of shipping contractors Communicates, organizes, and coordinates priorities and special circumstances with internal and external customers (Sales, Factory logistics, Quality) Oversees cycle count function for shipping supplies, components, finished goods, records maintenance, and collaborates with plant controlling on any inventory adjustments Maintain accurate inventory levels on finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials.
Responsible for coordinating physical inventory activities including but not limited to; preparation, counting, assigning teams, locations, variances, transactions, etc.
Oversees performance management of the shipping and receiving staff, including but not limited to performance evaluations, compensation reviews, employee coaching, and directing.
Maintains Key Performance Indicators for Packaging and Shipping Interviews and selects candidates within legal and company guidelines with the assistance of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor as necessary.
Responsible for planning departmental resources to achieve required daily, weekly, monthly, and/or yearly shipping and receiving results.
Certifies that all final shipping of products meets government and customer specifications, and all required documentation is enclosed.
Responsible for ensuring all chemicals shipped by the company are properly packaged, labeled, and correct manifests and MSDS are included Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials.
Work closely with Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales, and Production Departments to ensure the Company's quality and on-time delivery standards are not compromised.
Will train and/or coordinate the training of departmental employees as needed.
Ensure all people placed under their assigned area of responsibility, or all persons who may be affected by equipment or processes placed under their responsibility are complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local and State government, and LISI Aerospace policies, procedures and plans.
Responsible for the supporting and implementing company safety programs in the assigned shift.
Responsible for complying with ISO 14001 standards, aspects, directive, and procedures as related to the HSE policy commitments.
Works with a certain degree of creativity and latitude as required.
Implements and suggests waste elimination initiatives specifically related to the function and department such as EMS and recycling opportunities to elimination of production waste.
Ensure all people placed under their assigned area of responsibility, or all persons who may be affected by equipment or processes placed under their responsibility are complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local and State government, and LISI Aerospace policies, procedures and plans.
Responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times.
Required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management's attention immediately.
Continually seek opportunities to improve our HSE performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting our results.

Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervises Hourly Shipping and Receiving Personnel overall direction, coordination and evaluation of planning and scheduling functions.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A.

) and four years professional experience or Bachelor's degree (B.

) and two years of related experience preferred or Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Shipping/Receiving environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Planning and master scheduling, production control, and knowledge of continuous improvement.
Working knowledge of inventory systems and procedures, productivity measurements, and material handling.
Shipping and Receiving Supervisory experience in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic mainframe computer systems and familiarity with Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
