Accretive Global Risk Advisers dba First Florida Insurance Brokers (FFIB) is seeking a qualifity Account Manager.
The Account Manager performs the essential functions of the position, which include aiding various team members and clients with service needs.
Meets service and sales delivery standards and performs essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by the agency.
This position is located in our Tampa OR Orlando office.
What You'll Do:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Requests, gathers and compiles renewal/new business exposure data via aCreates/Prepares submission to sendto eligible and appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and Enters client information and policy(ies) into EPIC.
Ordersandissuesbinders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to agent with appropriate Determinesif direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoices Verify carrier invoices for accuracy and provide to accounting for payment.
Preparessummariesof insurance, schedules and proposals for word processing as Reviewsauditsof policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between agent and Verifiespolicy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when Processesincoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and Usesagency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments; request cancellations from the carrier according to agency Processesandfollowingup on cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintains agency in financial equity whenever Identifiesexposure to loss and recommends appropriate coverages.
Answer client questions regarding coverage and invoicing.
Coordinate with accounting for both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Participates in requirement continuing professional development.

What You'll Need:
A minimum of 3 years insurance experience in an account service position required.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent insurance experience.
Solid background and knowledge of all property and casualty commercial coverages.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Property & Casualty License (if not licensed must secure within 1 year from date of hire); and designations (or making progress toward) such as ARM/CIC/INS are required.
Seminars, IEA courses, and CPCU/RPLU classes encouragedAbility to multi-task and work well under pressure without supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills required.
Participation in continuing education programs (preferably group-insurance related)Flexible hoursSOFTWARE:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use manual dexterity, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and speak or hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk, stand and sit.
Position requires employee to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
