Part of the HR team, this person works with Production, Quality and Facilities to understand and document the use and general maintenance of each machine as it relates to the production process.
Works with HR Generalist to ensure that Job Descriptions have a corresponding training path - as it pertains to production processes and machines - and that corresponding staff are aware of the training and qualification program.
Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Functions Maintain and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and policies.
Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods, technology and language, for a specific purpose or audience.
Ensures staff are duly trained and qualified for their assigned roles.
Records and updates records as required.
Generate and maintain employee skills matrix to track strengths, opportunities and potential gaps within the team.
Reviews training plans with Management and HR as products, processes and regulations are updated.
Collate and evaluate information from employees and management on previous trainings to identify staff, team weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Maintain records on GSS for all production employees and their training records Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
Disseminate company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage support from managers, participation from staff.
Supports management in the annual review process, as it relates to skills and aptitude.
Demonstrate ownership to maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications Minimal
Qualifications:
Bi-Lingual/Spanish Hands-on understanding of production and manufacturing processes and techniques Understanding of the confidential nature of data and personnel information Good verbal, written and presentation skills Team player with a collaborative, positive attitude Problem solving and trouble shooting skills Self-driven, results oriented 'can do' outlook with a clear focus on deliverables Logical, structured thinker who critically assesses his/her own performance Informed understanding of Micronova products and the critical nature of end user markets General understanding of ERP systems - personnel tracking and skill levels/requirements Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities Knowledge of quality systems and standards Preferred
