Orthodontic Biller/ Front Office Assistant REQUIREMENT:
Minimum 12 months of experience in an orthodontic office as a biller and front office assistant.

$23-30 per hour We're a modern private dental office in Torrance specializing in orthodontics.
We're looking for a 4 days/week (8hrs/day) orthodontic biller / front office assistant.
We're an enthusiastic, fun, family-like team and we appreciate clear and respectful verbal and written communication among team members and with patients.
Position description We're looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Billing, and is able to provide high-level customer service to our patients.
Tasks include, but not limited to, scheduling and confirming appointments, communicating with team members and patients by text/phone/email, insurance verification and explaining the plan to patients, fee proposal, explaining the treatment plan to patients, contracting, billing, collection, maintaining cleanliness in the office.
We will train the candidate to take basic records (orthodontic Xrays, digital scans and photos) to help us prep for consults and to start same-day contracts.
Hourly pay based on experience and skills.
Work days:
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9am-6pm (lunch break:
1pm-2pm).
Requirements Knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology required.
Knowledge of what ortho codes can be billed together required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in sending emails, drafting documents on Microsoft Word, organizing plans on Microsoft Excel.
Basic math skills.
Excellent organization skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing personality.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal skills required to be able to provide patient instructions and education, and to maintain clear and respectful communication among team members.
Excellent written communication skills required to courteously and effectively communicate with team members and patients by text and emails.
Ability to provide outstanding customer service required.
