Buyer Adminstation Assistant
POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:
The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for;SAMPLE MANAGEMENToManage all incoming samples, with a high-level organization and ownership.oWeekly tracking of development samples by range to ensure they will arrive on time for Final Sign OffRANGE PLANNERS & SIGN OFFSoBuild & Maintain Range Planners throughout the range building process to ensure all information is accurate for Final Sign OffoPreparing samples for Final Sign OffsAPPROVAL SAMPLESoWeekly tracking of approval samples by range in accordance with the critical path, ensuring all key deadlines are met for on time deliveryoProvide weekly update of approval sample status by range to your Senior BuyeroChecking approval samples as they arrive:
correct color, detail and Identifying potential QC issuesRANGE PERFORMANCEoRun and review sales reports weekly as instructed by the Senior BuyeroRun weekly line sheets as instructed by the Senior BuyeroPrepare samples for weekly sales meetingsSPEC SHEETS & COMPETITOR ANALYSISoPreparing Spec Sheets, as instructed, as and when requested by your Senior BuyeroPreparing Comp Shop, Trend and Pricing reports as instructed, as and when requested by your Senior BuyerSUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPSoRespond to supplier correspondence professionally within 24 hoursOther Skills, knowledge and personal qualities required:
oStrong communication skills with a teamwork mindsetOpen and honest communication.oStrong computer skills, including Word, Excel & Outlook and developed skills on FuturaoAdaptability and flexibility in an ever-changing environmentoDesire to understand the strategic direction of the business and grow within the teamoThe ability to anticipate what may be required as well as problem-solving abilityoAbility to work autonomously and work to deadlines set.
