com) is an employment law firm that represents plaintiffs in a wide range of employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters.
We are seeking a motivated law clerk to join our firm for the summer (May-August 2023).
You will have the opportunity to learn about employment law and have hands-on experience, including attending hearings, depositions, and direct communications with clients.
The position is generally remote; however, we will meet a couple of times throughout the month to discuss case strategy.
Job duties include:
Assisting the managing attorney with trial prep Legal writing and research Drafting correspondence Responding to and propounding discovery Drafting notices and objections Interacting with clients Preferred
Qualifications:
Rising 3L Employment Law experience Strong legal research and analysis General knowledge of California Civil Procedure Experience drafting and responding to discovery Legal writing experience Spanish speaking abilities Required
Qualifications:
Law School Student and/or Recent Law School Graduate Well organized and detail-oriented High emotional intelligence and a positive attitude Reliable and punctual Please submit your resume and unofficial transcript.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
