QA Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction to ALFA and Highly Impact System QA leads which will report to this position
Collaborate with QA PM, ALFA QA Lead and Highly Impacted System QA Lead to build out consolidated project plan for QA Core Servicing Focus on integrated system functionality and handoffs to build out test cases with end to end processes in mind
Distribute work across team for efficient and effective delivery according to work plans and quality standards
Ensure Core Servicing resources are available to support Core Servicing QA activities
Facilitate and coordinate integrated test planning, test preparation and test execution for the test team
Institute internal controls to ensure quality output from team and best practices are being used
Review/approve appropriate project documentation to understand requirements and defect risks
Review the Master Test Plan and Execution Plan Documents from QA leads
Measure and monitor progress during each test phase
Review test summary reports after each test cycle or release (as agreed upon in master test plan or execution plan)
Review QA deliverables before external dissemination
Ensure respective workstream test readiness (per entrance criteria) including: requirements testability, environment, test data, test resources, support resources, build, logistical elements
Liaison with Core Servicing leads, Tech and Ops Readiness on Release and Environment Mgmt.
Build functional domain knowledge
Act as first point of escalation for QA issues within Core Servicing
Escalate to QA PM and QA Director as appropriate
Institute necessary rigor in external stakeholder engagement which should always include documented meeting objectives, internally vetted meeting material distributed a minimum 24 hours ahead of meeting, documented meeting minutes and action items per TFS standards and templates, and rigorous follow-up on action items assigned to workstream


Functional QA Manager must have the following

Experience with highly complex Business Transformational Quality Assurance projects
Experience with replacing large legacy financial systems
Ability to coordinate the testing for a partially customized "Off The Shelf" solution
8+ years quality assurance experience/5+ years management experience
Ability to manage 1-2 contingent direct reports plus outsource vendors
Ability to mobilize teams consisting of 20 - 40 people

Functional QA Manager must have the following attributes:

Ability to interface with all levels of project team staff to include senior management
Ability to present project updates and communicate to all levels
Ability to manage large matrix team; collaboration skills are key element of success
Lead will have 1-2 direct reports
Ability to provide clear, concise and timely communication
Ability to lead resources to work together as one cohesive team rather than disparate teams
Critical and strategic thinking
Ability to devise solutions
Ability to be "anchor" for whole QA initiative relative to Core Servicing
Provide quality management and strategic leadership within the Core Servicing workstream
Perform management of outsourced testing team located in Torrance, CA and India

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
