The Torrance-South Bay YMCA is hiring for a Senior Program Home Delivery Driver. The Home Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of individually packed meals to home bound senior citizens within the boundaries of our Carson Nutrition program.
The scope of responsibility includes, but is not limited to, maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness of equipment and personal hygiene, following the establish procedure and routine for meal preparation and packaging, driving prescribed routes (via map-quest) in their own car to the homes of their assigned seniors, wear the prescribed YMCA attire and conform to Serv-Safe standards for proper food service handling, convey a caring, pleasant and professional attitude towards the senior citizens and fellow staff at all times.
Minimum 18 years
Have physical capacity to life and carry boxes weighing 25-40 lbs.
Possess and maintain a car or truck in good operating condition
Be available M-F 9:30am-12:30pm
